Overview
Dr.Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, was established by an Act of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 2005, U.P. Act No.28 of 2005 and came into being on 4th of January 2006 to meet up the new challenges in legal field and to strengthen the vision that was given by the establishment of first National Law School of the country.
RMLNLU offers BA LLB (Hons) integrated programme and LLM degree, approved by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Academic Council of the university. It also extends a regular PhD programme which is of five years. These courses are offered in full-time mode.

Admissions
RMLNLU offers a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program. Eligibility requires completion of 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Admission is based on CLAT scores. The university also offers a one-year LL.M. program, with admission criteria including an LL.B. degree with a minimum of 50% marks and CLAT PG scores.
