Overview

NMAT 2025 Registration will be started from August 2024. Candidates will be ablet to fill application form through online mode. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the conducting authority of NMAT entrance examination.

Application Process

Candidates can check given section to know NMAT 2025 application form details:
NMAT 2025 application form will be released from the first week of August 2024 for first attempt.
Candidates will be able to complete registration procedure through online mode, no offline mode will be provided.
GMAC has released list of more than 35 Business schools accepting NMAT Scores. After the declaration of result in the first week of January institutes will release NMAT cut off individually.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university to apply for admission.
Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for entrance exam.
Percentage: In qualifying exam, candidates must score minimum 50% marks to apply for exam.

Appearing: Those appearing candidates in last semester of their qualifying degree will also be eligible to apply for exam.

NMAT 2025 Highlights

The NMAT entrance exam difficulty level is easy to moderate. NMAT Question paper contains total of 108 questions which are to be solved within 2 hours. The most noting part is, there is no negative marking in the exam, applicants can attempt the entire question paper.

NMAT 2025 Selection Process

NMAT selection process, comprising Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) is done individually by each institute accepting NMAT score. Here is a brief look at the different stages of NMAT selection process:

1'st Stage: NMAT Exam

The first stage in the selection process is qualifying the NMAT exam conducted in online mode. The online paper has three sections Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.

NMAT Exam Pattern

The duration of the test is 2 hours and 120 MCQs are asked in the exam. The table below indicates section-wise distribution of questions and time allotted to each of them.

2'nd Stage: GD - PI Round

The next stage in the NMAT selection process is the GD & PI round. This is conducted at the individual level for all the candidates shortlisted based on NMAT score. Candidates must meet the cut off score stipulated by the exam conducting authority.

The participating institute may also decide to conduct WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. The decison of final admission is based on the combined performance in NMAT online test and GD - PI round.

NMAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Report to the allotted exam centre for NMAT by GMAC 2024 at least an hour before the exam begins.
Carry NMAT admit card as well as one valid photo ID (original as well as one copy) to the venue
Valid photo IDs include Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN card, Driving License and Debit Card/Credit Card (with signature of candidate)
Do not carry any prohibited electronic items, study material or mobile phones as these items are not allowed in the exam centres
NMAT admit card contains important instructions for the exam day and test centre. Don't forget to carefully go through the instructions.

NMAT 2025 Test Centre Facility for Test Takers with Disabilities

Test takers with disability will have access to special arrangements during NMAT by GMAC including accommodation facility. Such candidates should submit a request to GMAC for the same while filling up NMAT application form.

Admit Card

NMAT 2025 admit card will be released through online mode on the website. Authority will release admit card for registered candidates only. To access the admit card, candidates will have to provide their login credentials in the online portal.

Candidates will also have to do slot booking of NMAT 2025 to download the admit card online. It will be appeared in the dashboard, after booking the schedule. Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the admit card and carry it to the exam center on the day of exam for verification.
