Admissions
Admission to IIT Goa's B.Tech programs is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced). Candidates must first qualify the JEE Main examination to be eligible for JEE Advanced. After clearing JEE Advanced, candidates participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process, where they can select IIT Goa as their preferred institution. The final seat allocation considers the candidate's rank, preferences, and availability of seats. For M.Tech admissions, candidates need a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score, followed by participation in the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) rounds. M.Sc. admissions are based on the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) scores.
