Ishan Institute of Law established in 2014 in Greater Noida is a Private Law College. The Institute focuses on instilling democratic principles and ideals in the minds of Law Aspirants. It offers LL.B and B.A.LL.B courses. The admission to these courses is based on both merit and entrance exams like CLAT. Application mode is online. The Ishan Educational Institutions were founded with an objective to provide quality education and emphasizes on comprehensive growth of the students, working on their hearts and minds by addressing their academic, cultural, physical and social needs in an environment of continuous interaction and growth, conducive for the enrichment of mind and body. The Ishan Institute of Law embodies all these ideals and raises the bar for imparting knowledge in the discipline of Law. Ishan Institute of Law IS APPROVED BY BAR Council of India (BCI), New Delhi and also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Ishan Institute of Law plans to offer a full-time regular LL.B. & BA.LL.B. degree which will be affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The affiliating university, i.e. Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut offers its academic curriculum and assessment system to affiliated colleges. Some major highlights of the affiliation of the university are as follow. We can no more restrict legal education within the four walls of a classroom it has transcended beyond theses traditional boundaries. Legal Education has obtained an interdisciplinary approach and its multiple utilities provide a wide range of options making it a coveted professional career choice. From entering the judiciary or assisting it in dispensing away justice through active litigation to drafting of contracts for the business houses/ corporate world, trade law, IPR issues to entering the private and sensitive zone for resolution of family disputes; to fighting for social causes by way of PILs or for aiming at correction of inequalities perpetrated at vulnerable section of societies or entering pure academic pursuits for advanced legal education, the opportunities are diverse but immense. It is one profession that enables a person to cater to the welfare of humanity directly or indirectly cutting across socio-economic and even political considerations. Legal empowerment is also an effective tool for social and gender empowerment in multifarious ways such as disseminating information and creation of awareness of the legal rights and providing an effective mechanism to realize them.
