Overview
The Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence is a multidisciplinary, student-centric research university established in 2011 by Shiv Nadar, one of India’s foremost philanthropists and a pioneer of technological revolution. It has four Schools, viz., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management & Entrepreneurship, and the Academy of Continuing Education. We were the first university in the country to offer a 4-year multidisciplinary research degree. Today, we are continuing as trailblazers with new kinds of curriculum, championed by faculty drawn from some of the top institutions in the country and the world. With low faculty-student ratios, their in-depth attention to students lead to high levels of student success. At Shiv Nadar, academic research is the fundamental building block of the academic mission. It includes basic and applied research, scholarly publications and creative expression, and interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. The University is home to excellent research infrastructure including a dedicated Research Block with an area of 63000 sq.ft. that houses major research equipments and facilities for experimental research. The University is the first in the country to establish a Center for Genomics and Spatial Transcriptomics (STOMICS). The library, housed in an iconic building, is also a central part of our campus. Admissions
Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program at SNU must have a minimum of 60% in their bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants should have secured at least 65% in their 10th-grade examinations and 75% in their 12th-grade examinations. The selection process involves evaluating scores from national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT. Prospective students are required to apply online through the SNU admissions portal, providing all necessary academic records and entrance exam scores. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for group discussions and personal interviews to assess their aptitude and suitability for the program.
Scholarship
Shiv Nadar University offers scholarships to meritorious students based on their academic performance and entrance exam scores. Additionally, the university provides financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections and those belonging to reserved categories, in line with government regulations.
