Overview
Vivekananda Global University is a private university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. It was established under the Act No. 11/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan.
'Bagaria Education Trust' (BET), a not-for-profit organization registered in the year 2002, was constituted by a group of hardworking professionals from Rajasthan who felt the need for special efforts to promote education in rural areas. The trust is registered with Niti Aayog & Devasthan Vibhag, Rajasthan & is also registered with the Income Tax Department under Section 80G & 12AA. The primary focus of the trust has always been on educating rural women & youth. The introductory endeavour of the promoters was an exclusive drive called “Shiksha Karmi” for the education of the daughters-in-law of the villages. The motive behind this drive was to make the women educated enough so that they could impart education to the village children in the future. The trust & its sister concerns run 9 educational institutions ranging from nursery education to Ph.D. programs in multidisciplinary fields. The current strength of these institutions stands out to be a whopping 10,000+ students & over 1000+ staff members.

Admissions
VGU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as engineering, management, design, law, and agriculture. Admission criteria vary by program.
